Little Eskimo and Who??

His name is "Brian", and he has been her "support". He has been a "good" listener. Someone she can have "uplift" her spirits when she is down, etc. They have been good for each other. And yes, you would like him. Suzanne has come alive once again, with her love for her music. Brian is an awsome singer. He sings "Three Wooden Crosses" Awsome, among many others, as he takes the stage many times through out the summer, winter. He is a DJ for different ocassions, wedding receptions, summer outdoor festivals. He has a litttle girl name Makala, who is same age as Thomas. So they have also become friends. They are in the picture posted below this picture of Suzanne and Brian. And yes, he actually helps her clean her house, car, yard, etc. For more further details, you will have to keep after Little Eskimo to fill you in. I have been thankful for Brian entering Suzannes life. They have been good for each other. The interesting thing is they have attended the same church for years, but never knew of each other, till they wound up in the same line of work. Little Eskimo and Brian Posted by Hello

The Calm After The Storm

"He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still". Psalms 107:29

There is "always" a calm after a storm. It can be a total calm, the sun shines forth, things are fresh, the flowers perk up, the grass stands taller. People come out of their shelters to view the beautiful aftermath, the beautiful fresh, clear blue sky, and sun. It is so dark during the storm, but just the opposite after the storm, This one storm, I sat on a little knoll just above the evening campfire, where teens were "stareing" at the fire, singing camp songs, huddled together with jackets, and blankets around them. The interesting thing is, despite the weather outside the ring of the "fire" and group, it can be very stormy, cool, but warm within the circle. That is how it was at our "campfires" at Living Springs Bible Camp.. I sat watching both the fire and group, and the storm, I had my camera pointed at the sky over the lake we were on. The thunder "cracking, and lightening strikes were spectacular.! We were all just lost in our little world. If you check out the 1st picture I posted, (lightening strikes), you will see a bit of the orange sky on the one side of the picture. After the campfire, I walked down the hill and was captured with the sky. It was beautiful.. In my second picture, you will see a bit of the storm still. A total different picture now, and awsome! As Lightening Strikes

Storms come in all different colors, and sizes. The ending of the storm, is a beautiful rainbow! Our lives were not meant to just be "easy". But what do we do when "lightening strikes"? It can change peoples lives forever. And there isn't always a "beautiful rainbow" at the end. Some seem to weather storms better than others. The question is, what do we do? Do we try to hide deep away, and just wait for the storm or lightening to pass? Or do we "raise up as the eagle", and look that storm straight in the eye? I have to admit, I am one that prefers to "hide". I don't handle "storms" very well. Am I weak?? Yes! Do I look to God? I am learning more and more all the time, that is the very first place to go.

Isaiah 40:31
"But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength. they shall mount up with wings as eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint"

With the ending of the storms, and lightening strikes, there are new skys, new colors, new "rainbows". The "rainbows" in our lives make for new and different sights, all yet to behold, as God places them in our lives, one at a time.

A New Dawn Arises With The Sunset Of Yesterday Posted by Hello

Each New Sunset Brings A New Sunrise

It has been said, "Our days are like a "jewell case", in which God has placed our days as jewells. From our jewell case, He draws out a day, one day at a time, and presents it to us to use. Today we have! We may not have tomorrow. Today, "now", this present moment is a special gift from God. "Tomorrow", is God's secret, but today is ours to live. "One Day At A Time".

As I have discovered, my goals, each new year, seem to change, more as I get older, and my family situations change. Our lives are in constant change. This new year will not be a repitition of the one just past, but a year of "new beginnings", filled with new experiences, new opportunities, new lessons to be learned.

Regardless of what this new year may hold, God promises to "do a new thing". "This one thing I do, "forgetting what lies behind, and pressing forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal, to win the heavenly prize to which God in Christ Jesus is calling us upward."

We are to "turn our eyes away" from the past year and look forward with anticipation to this new year, "fresh from God's hand to us.

The Sun has set on many things in our lives over the last few years.. But, with each new Sunset, there "is" a brand new Sunrise - Brand New Beginnings - Brand New Pictures. We look ahead on new things God has for us.

Sunset - Sunrise
